About Marin Referrals — Business Connections through Personal Interaction

We’ve all been there. The huge room filled with potential client prospects — but which is the one? Who do you select from the crowd to talk to? Or maybe you’ve attended so many networking meetings you wonder if you’ll have time to do any actual work. Marin Referrals is different. Our group meetings are every other month, often enough feel connected, not so often that work suffers.

It’s all about referrals! It's no secret why we meet — to give and to get referrals. Knowing that makes the meetings both efficient and effective.

Because we believe in the strength of referrals we recommend one-on-one meetings with other members so everyone has the opportunity to get to know each other — and their businesses. The format of the one-on-one meetings is up to you. Lunch, coffee, or a brisk walk are among the options many members choose.

No dues, no membership fees. There are no required fees, however members have the option to purchase a 3-ring binder to organize information about Marin Referrals colleages.

Online Profile. For a nominal fee members can use the Marin Referrals online profile page to provide information about their businesses and to link to their own websites.


What are the best referrals?
The best referrals are ACTIVE referrals — when you give your fellow Marin Referrals members contact information of the people inquiring of their services.

How will I know enough about members to give referrals?
Marin Referrals members do more than exchange business cards; there's ample opportunity to get to know other members. Also, members are vetted before they join so you know their clients recommend them. Here are some ways to get to know other members:
